As an advanced price management solution for enterprise companies, Zilliant helps their customers optimize their pricing in the manufacturing of products requiring many materials and components. Calculating costs with such complex pricing structures can become confusing for companies using traditional methods to prepare and organize such vast amounts of data.

To give their customers a centralized location to efficiently manage and automate their pricing process, Zilliant came up with the concept for Price Manager, and with the assistance of Vice Software, they fully realized it. Zilliant was able to create a new app for their customers and become more self-sufficient in the long-term by building and training new internal web teams.

With our Vice React Boilerplate, we were able to allow Zilliant to hit the ground running with a best practices based architecture and achieve velocities above and beyond what they achieved on the project. We helped Zilliant create an intuitive user-friendly app design in React that will greatly enhance the experience their users will have while utilizing this new product. In an expedited time frame, Zilliant has been able to develop an app that gives their customers the ability to update and manage their own data.

Concurrently, Zilliant consulted with Vice Software to create a robust modern web development team well-versed in the React ecosystem. We assisted in the process from beginning to end, helping to interview, vet and mentor their new in-house team on best practices we have refined over years of projects giving them a stable starting point. By working closely with a team with extensive experience in this new technology, Zilliant avoided making costly mistakes that plague many new teams in this technology stack and exposing their company to less risk in the long-term.

Through expert consultation services and a strong partnership, Vice Software guided Zilliant to a new, modern web application. We worked closely with them to achieve their short-term goals of quickly delivering a new product to their customers. We also fostered a long-term partnership, enabling them to increase their capacity and velocity as new feature requests come in based on early users’ excitement. With a knowledgeable, in-house web team, Zilliant is able to keep their IP exactly where they want it: with them. They will also be able to more easily scale and achieve high velocity with high stability. Eventually, their web team will have the capacity to manage their new asset entirely on their own, but until then, Vice Software vows to continue providing expert support and a high velocity team.
